SenseCAP S500 V2 5in1 from Seeedstudio is a compact sensor for building a weather station that allows you to determine environmental conditions such as air temperature , relative humidity , barometric pressure , wind speed and direction (determined by the ultrasonic method). Thanks to its special design, it can be used in industrial applications - the module has an IP66 protection level. It is waterproof and dustproof, and can also operate in environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85° C, IP66 protection level ensuring waterproof and dustproof, enable the sensor to be used in outdoor applications in sectors such as smart agriculture, smart city, renewable energy or broadly understood transport.

Sensors for measuring wind speed and direction use innovative technology based on ultrasound (instead of a traditional mechanical anemometer). Reducing the number of moving parts makes the sensor less susceptible to breakage, making it easier to maintain. This will increase its resistance and measurement precision.
