Forbot Robot Shield for Arduino

Forbot Robot Shield is an extension board for Arduino, which is adding to it, everything what's necessary for making robot. On board of the module, found can be, i.a. the driver of the DC motors, a connector for servo, the I/O expander, IR receiver, buzzer and the button. Other signals of the Arduino, has been brought to standard goldpin connectors.

The module is also available in akit that contains everything needed to perform the constructiondescribed in the course of building robots!

The distribution of elements on the Board.

On board is the driver of motors DRV8835, which allows the connection of two DC drives (up to 1.2 A per channel). The motors are powered through filter capacitors that protect electronics from interferences caused by drivers. The module is also equipped with separate connector for the servo.

Shield should be powered with a voltage ranging from 7 V to 11 V (recommended 8 to 10 V) via special connector (located on the left edge). Board is equipped with protection from the reverse power connection, polymer fuse and slide switch. The voltage indicated on the power connector is used to power two DC motors and servo (via a separate stabilizer). Using internal jumper, you can remove the voltage from drives!

Board also powers the Arduino - there's no need to connect a separate power supply for electronics!
