- The outer shell is made of non-genetically modified (GM free) corn starch and is completely biodegradable. It is just as functional as plastic coats in conventional diapers, but it is significantly more gentle on baby´s skin. He is without chemistry and breathes. As many parents have been convinced, this is one of the main benefits of Nata´s diapers, as the natural breathability prevents skin irritation. 50 - 60% of the diaper is made from biodegradable sources, ie. is immediately degradable. The whole diaper then disintegrates significantly faster than a regular diaper, which can take up to 400 years. The absorbent core consists of a mixture of biodegradable cellulose and absorbent gel (due to absorbency and impermeability). Cellulose is obtained from Scandinavian wood and is FSC certified. This is an international certification that guarantees that the wood and therefore the paper come from carefully managed forests. The diapers are very soft, they look almost like cloth diapers to the touch, they allow the baby to move naturally. Thanks to the soft, flexible part of the diaper, they fit the baby perfectly. Diapers are not bleached or perfumed in any way . They do not contain any chlorine, latex, TBT (tributyltin), dyes, phthalates, dioxins. Diaper printing does not contain heavy metals, it does not endanger the health of the child. The first organic diapers that are certified "OK Biobased" (Vincotte). Vincotte is one of the world´s most demanding non-profit organizations, which confirms the large amount of renewable raw materials used in the production of diapers.
